May 15, 2023 Agricultural biotechnology company Qualterra, Inc., a leader in agricultural and sustainability technologies, today announced that Shara Green has joined the company as its Sales Executive. In her role, Shara will develop new business opportunities and create customized solutions to customer needs across all three commercial technologies at Qualterra: Molecular Plant Testing Services, Plant Propagation (Nursery), and Biomass Processing/Biochar Soil Amendments.
Shara is a 4th generation tree fruit grower living on her family orchard in Yakima, WA in the heart of one of Washington State’s main agricultural regions. She is a sales veteran, most recently serving the wine and craft beverage industry for more than 10 years as Senior Account Manager with Universal Packaging, Inc. Shara received her bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University. Shara is a Member of the Board of Directors at the Yakima Chapter of the Washington Farm Bureau and an attending member of the Yakima Pomology Club. In her free time, Shara is a competitive trap shooter as well as an avid wine enthusiast.
